Are you hoping to learn more about a biological parent or a child you placed for adoption? Are you interested in making contact with a long-lost family member?
If you were involved in an adoption through Lutheran Social Services of Montana, we offer the following services:
For Adoptees and Adoptive Parents
For a fee, Lutheran Social Services provides assistance in locating LSS adoption family members for the purpose of exchanging information or reunification. Adoptees requesting this service must be at least 18 years old, or must make the request through their adoptive parents. Birthparents of a child who is 18 or older may also request that LSS attempt to contact the other party to offer reunion or an exchange of information.
LSS respects the confidentiality and privacy of all parties involved in the search process, and we make every effort to ensure that one person’s desire to reconnect does not infringe on the rights of another.
